The IANTD Normoxic Trimix program can be taken either as a standalone qualification, without completing Technical Diver, or can be done as an upgrade from Technical Diver. The latter method is strongly recommended, as it provides an air/nitrox certification good to 55m - essential for insurance if you're diving deeper than 40m on air. The program qualifies divers to perform dives outside of training to depths up to 60m while using helium-based breathing mixtures (with at least 18% oxygen) to reduce the END to a maximum 36m and to perform required decompression stops using any mixture of EANx up to 100% oxygen.
What Do I Need? IANTD Advanced Nitrox Certification or equivalent, minimum 100 logged dives of which at least 30 deeper than 27m . Minimum age 18. Rescue Diver.
