Jo has been Instructing Divers for over a decade, teaching a variety of techniques that encompass courses from a spectrum of respected Dive industry Organizations', he has been fortunate enough to work in a variety of Countries, Seas and Oceans.

Perhaps unusually, Jo still prefers diving in the home waters of UK,  finding it more rewarding and challenging. "UK diving has so much to offer whether the Viz is good or bad you can always find something new to look at or somewhere new to explore, the number and quality of dive sites around the UK coastline seem incredible".

Jo strongly believes that diving in our temperate climate and waters , coping with the temperatures and at times terpidity tends to hone skills and build quality buddy teamwork, factors that ensure that when you get the opportunity to dive somewhere warmer with better viz the diving becomes almost relaxing, less task loaded and therefore simply enjoyable.

 "You never stop learning," Is a statement that Jo will repeat (even in his sleep) with this in mind when Jo is not teaching others he strives to undertake continuation training in the form of high proficiency courses to upgrade his skills, diving knowledge and expand his experiences,  he can however, sometimes relax, if he has a day or two spare you’ll often find him with the rest of the team unwinding by diving some of their favorite sites nearby.
